Job Title: Demolition Estimator

Salary Range: $52,000 to $100,000 (relative to experience)

Status: Full Time - Exempt with benefits

Skinner Demolition is seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Assistant Estimator to support our Demolition Estimator with day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone with a background in construction who is looking to expand into demolition estimating and project coordination.

We’re looking for someone who understands the fast-paced nature of construction projects, can manage multiple priorities with accuracy, and is comfortable communicating with field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and clients. If you’ve worked in construction—whether in the field or in the office—and are ready to take the next step into estimating and pre-construction, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills.

You’ll work closely with an experienced professional to gain hands-on exposure to:

Demolition estimating and bid preparation.
Job walk-throughs and site assessments.
Project scheduling and logistics.
Vendor and subcontractor coordination.
Document control and takeoffs.

Qualifications

Knowledge of materials, labor, equipment, and time needed for demolition jobs.
Ability to read and interpret construction and demolition drawings.
Knowledge of demolition methods –mechanical, selective, and structural dismantling techniques.
Safety regulations – Familiarity with local and federal demolition safety codes.Attention to detail – Estimators must be precise to avoid costly mistakes.
Familiarity with the construction or demolition industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently.
